Alexis-Marie Chin was born on May 26th, 1992 in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago and is of Chinese-Portuguese descent. As a child, Alexis loved watching movies over and over until she memorized every line and performed them in front of her family. She never had much opportunity to explore her love for acting as there was not much of a film industry in Trinidad at the time. Her first real taste of performing happened when she landed the role of Beth in her high school's theater production, Looking Through You. In 2010, Alexis moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she studied Business Management and Administration at Boston University. During her time there, she tried to explore various acting and film production opportunities in the Boston area but had to face the reality that she could not work in the U.S. without it pertaining to her studies. After graduating in 2014, Alexis decided to give acting another try and moved to Vancouver, BC where she attended formal training at a well known acting school and graduated the full time program and post dramatic arts program in 2015. Alexis considers herself a well rounded, hardworking performer and currently splits her time between Vancouver and her hometown in Trinidad. When she's not working, you can usually find her on a beach soaking up the sunshine. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Alexis-Marie Chin
